FAQ

Which image formats can I convert in bulk?

The tool supports PNG, JPEG, and WebP for both input and output, so you can convert between them in batches. Use PNG or WebP when you need transparency; JPEG does not preserve transparent areas. HEIC, RAW, and similar formats are not supported.

How many images can I convert at once?

There is no fixed file-count limit, but each image must be 10MB or smaller, and the practical batch size depends on browser memory and image dimensions. For large jobs, process images in smaller batches.

How do I resize images in bulk while keeping the aspect ratio?

Enter a target width in the Target size fields and leave height blank with Keep aspect ratio checked. The tool calculates height from each image's original proportions. You can also enter both width and height; the setting applies to the whole batch.

Can I rename images in bulk?

Add a shared suffix such as _small or _thumb in File suffix. The suffix is appended to each output filename; leave it empty to keep the original names. Per-image custom names are not supported.

Does batch image compression reduce quality?

Compression re-encodes images, so there is a trade-off between file size and quality. Results depend on the image, output format, and the compression setting. Test a few files first; use PNG when quality matters.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Conversion, resizing, renaming, and compression run locally in your browser. Images are not uploaded; the current file list is cleared when you close or refresh the page.
